How would you like to improve your quality of life while doing and taking on less? Well, the latest life hack development is a concept that may have found the cure to the digital age mania that seem to overwhelm most today. With what may seen like an infinity of options, available immediately, we need design our lives in such a way that distraction and instant gratification can't steer us away from our vision. This life hack has been put into practice by some of the worlds greatest leaders such as Albert Einstein who wrote, “Three Rules of Work: Out of clutter find simplicity; From discord find harmony; In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity.” So lets explore how we can apply this principle in our own lives.
Minimalism is a concept that can allow us to enjoy a better quality of life through minimizing the non- essentials from our day to day priorities. Now, I am sure that that your are thinking that you already behave this way and that everything you give your attention to is high leverage? But I'd like to invite you to take a detailed inventory of the following:
- How much time do you spend goofing around on your phone?
- How much money do you waste on things you that don't pay positive dividends?
- How many closes are your hording and haven't even though of in the past year? - Think they'll be back in Vogue right?
These are only a few areas we can start looking and minimizing the clutter.
We often find ourselves cough up in communities and cultures that reinforce extreme materialism and meaningless comments on social media.
Evaluate your situation and consider what would you be better without?
We often have the misconception that more equals better. Socially, we tend to over commit our time don't we? And scarifies the depth and quality of a meaningful conversation with a loved one. Wouldn't your weekend be put to better use if you said no to a last minute invitation to a party that you had no plan of attending and instead invested that time your kids? Minimalism is allowing your self to get more out of life by removing to the extent possible, what doesn't support or align with your goals and values.
Know what your values are as well as what you need to support those values. Depending on your personal objectives, set up your work and living environment so it helps you stay on track.
Imaging how you would be more effective, productive and engaged you would be if you predominantly gave your attention and resources to less than a handful of things that really excite you!
The freedom and quality of life experience you you enjoy when you have energy and time to delve deeper into your passions has been a game changer for me.
Being able to allocate more space in my life and mind for new things and new ideas to occupy gives me a peace of mind that I will always be learning and discovering new things.
Don't "tolerate" place holders or convenient options, because when you settle for less you tend to get less than what you settled for. So be sure that you keep only the best of what you have and desire, and begin letting go of the things, people and situations that don't talk to your vision.
The term "VIA NAGETIVA” means, I cannot tell you who God IS, but I can tell who he is NOT.
When you can identify and remove something of low quality or a weakness you become stronger by default.
